Subject: [IGS-ACS-197] IGS Reprocessing (1997-1999) and contribution to ITRF From: Ferland, R\351mi Date: Wed, 22 Jul 2009 11:04:12 -0400 To: igs-acs@igscb.jpl.nasa.gov CC: Zuheir Altamimi , Xavier Collilieux , Detlef Angermann , Manuela Seitz Author: Remi Ferland Dear All, The addition of years 1997 - 1999 to the reprocessing and to the contribution for ITRF2008 has just been completed. Details of the analysis are identical to the 2000-2008 submission. See: http://acc.igs.org/trf/submission-4-ITRF2008.txt As before, the weekly solutions are available from CDDIS. Reprocessed time series of the: - summary reports, - combined station coordinates, - residuals between the weekly (ig1) and cumulative (IG1) are available respectively at (ps format): ftp://macs.geod.nrcan.gc.ca/pub/requests/sinex/sum_r ftp://macs.geod.nrcan.gc.ca/pub/requests/sinex/coord_r ftp://macs.geod.nrcan.gc.ca/pub/requests/sinex/res_r To potentially add to the ITRF2008, the first half of 2009 (weeks 1512-1538) was reviewed, and contributed. Overall, 984 stations were identified. 561 did meet the minimum ITRF criterion (2 years of data + DOME #). To account for new stations and longer time series, the 2000 - 2008 weeks were updated with the additional stations that now meet the criterions. Those recontributed solutions, were extracted from the same solutions that were used in the original submission last February. As an indication of the improvement in the reprocessed solutions, several discontinuities that were identified in the "production" solutions, are no longer visible in the reprocessed time series! For more info please see: http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/igsacc/reprocess/reprocess.html Thanks to the ACs for their effort and cooperation! Best Regards, Remi,
