Subject: [IGS-ACS-165] IGS Reprocessing (199x) and contribution to ITRF From: Ferland, Rémi Date: Wed, 06 May 2009 14:09:13 -0400 To: igs-acs@igscb.jpl.nasa.gov CC: Zuheir Altamimi ****************************************************************************** IGS-ACS Mail 06 May 11:09:19 PDT 2009 Message Number 165 ****************************************************************************** Author: Remi Ferland Dear All, A couple of months ago, the a combination of the reprocessing for years 2000-2007 was made available for the upcoming ITRF2008. The original plan was to redo a final recombination of the reprocessed solutions "repor1" starting with 2007, because some AC solutions did miss the original deadline, and others had resubmitted new and improved solutions. After some discussions at the recent EGU, it was decided to continue with the combination of the reprocessed AC solutions for years 1999, 1998 ... , so that a longer time series can be available for ITRF2008. The remaining opportunity is only a few weeks. A quick inventory of the weekly sinex solutions available for 1997-1999 shows: AC 1999 1998 1997 em1 51 51 53 es1 51 52 53 gt1 24 17 0 mi1 2 0 0 nc1 1 0 0 ng1 51 52 38 pd1 51 52 53 si1 51 52 53 ul1 50 51 47 So if you have solutions that are ready and you would like them to be included please submit them to CIDDIS promptly. Weekly combinations are currently being done for 1999. There is a fairly good probability that 1998 could also be combined in time. For 1997 it is uncertain. After that, the final recombination of repro1 will be done as originally planned. Best Regards, Remi,
